Today, iQOO has announced their latest partnership with renowned anime series One Piece for the release of a special edition iQOO Z1 5G smartphone.
This exclusive model has a customized rear design donned in Yellow shade alongside a huge IQOO logo running across the length of the device. Needless to say, there will also be a signature One Piece emblem on its rear panel as well.
Other than that, the device will also feature a specially curated, One Piece-themed retail box which you can add to your One Piece collections. As usual, the device also comes with exclusive One Piece-themed UI and wallpapers.
According to iQOO, the iQOO Z1 One Piece Edition will go on a limited sale on July 22nd later this month. Other than its cosmetic differences, the rest of its specs and pricing remain unchanged. In China, the device will continue to retail at just 2,498 Yuan (US$357) for the 8GB+128GB model.
iQOO Z1 Specifications
The iQOO Z1 features a 6.57-inches FHD+ LCD panel which comes with support for HDR10 as well as an incredibly smooth 144Hz screen refresh rate. The front panel utilizes a hole-punch design to accommodate its 16 megapixels selfie camera.
Over at the back, the iQOO Z1 has a rectangular camera module at the back which houses a total of 3 cameras and a LED flash. These cameras include a 48 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.
Under the hood, the iQOO Z1 is driven by an octa-core Mediatek Dimensity 1000+ SoC which will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
In terms of connectivity, the iQOO Z1 is able to support the latest 5G network in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes, as well as support for Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. Similar to the iQOO Neo3, the device is also fitted with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
At the helm, the iQOO Z1 is fueled by a generous 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 44W Super FlashCharge. According to iQOO, a mere 23 minutes charge will be able to bring the device from 0 to 50%. On the software-side, the device will run on the company’s proprietary iQOO UI based on Android 10 OS.
