iQOO U3x official renders and specs listed ahead of launch

The upcoming iQOO U3x is expected to make its official debut alongside the iQOO Z3 during the upcoming March 25th launch event. However, the official renders and specs of the device had already been listed on JD.com days ahead of its scheduled launch.

iQOO U3x Render

On the outside, the iQOO U3x shares largely the same design as the iQOO U3 which was launched back in December last year. The device features the same 6.58” FHD+ display upfront which offers a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. Its also comes with a dewdrop-notch which houses a selfie camera of unknown specification.

Over at the back, the device retains the same square-shaped camera housing which houses a dual-camera system. Although the iQOO U3 features a 48 megapixels primary shooter, the iQOO U3x will settle for a toned-down 13 megapixels snapper instead.

Under the hood, the iQOO U3x also opted for a Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 platform over the Dimensity 800U chipset found in the iQOO U3. This will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.

To keep its lights on, the device draws power from a massive 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. On the software-side, it’ll boot on the latest OriginOS based on Android 11 out of the box.
