iQOO has quietly announced a budget 5G smartphone in the Chinese market known as the iQOO U3x which shares identical design as the iQOO U3 which was launched back in December last year.
The iQOO U3x sports a 6.58” FHD+ LCD display which offers a smooth 90Hz screen refresh rate. Its also comes with a dewdrop-notch upfront which houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera. Along the right side of the device, there’s also a fingerprint scanner as well.
Over at the back, the iQOO U3x features a square-shaped camera module which houses a dual-camera system. These cameras include a 13 megapixels primary shooter and a 2 megapixels depth sensor which are assisted by a LED flash.
Under the hood, the iQOO U3x is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 480 instead of the MediaTek Dimensity 800U chipset found in the iQOO U3. It will be further assisted by up to 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.
The device is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. It will be shipped with the latest OriginOS based on Android 11 OS. Most importantly, it brings along the highly coveted 3.5mm headphone jack as well.
In the Chinese market, the iQOO U3x is priced at 1,199 Yuan (US$184) for its 4GB+128GB and 6GB+64GB variants, as well as 1,499 Yuan (US$230) for its 8GB+128GB variant.
