iQOO Z1’s New Variant with 12GB RAM Announced in China

iQOO announced the iQOO Z1 5G smartphone in May in China. The phone had arrived in 6 GB and 8 GB RAM versions in the market. Today, the Vivo sub-brand confirmed that the arrival of a new 12 GB RAM variant of the iQOO Z1.

The iQOO Z1 5G smartphone’s new variant has 12 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. It is now up for purchase through Vivo’s online store and JD.com in China. The new variant is priced at 2,498 Yuan ($375) and it comes in colors like Space Blue, Galaxy Silver, and Symphony Meteor.

The new model of the iQOO Z1 is available alongside the existing variants such as 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. These variants are priced at 2,198 Yuan ($330), 2,298 Yuan ($345), and 2,598 Yuan ($390).

iQOO Z1 5G Specifications

The iQOO Z1 5G has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD punch-hole display that supports a full HD+ resolution and up to 144Hz refresh rate. It is the first smartphone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 1000+ chipset. The phone ships with LPPDR4x RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It lacks support for external storage.

The device houses a 44W fast charging enabled battery of 4,500mAh capacity. It has a front camera of 16-megapixel. The backside of the device has a triple camera setup that includes a 48-megapixel primary shooter, an 8-megapixel superwide lens with 112-degree FOV, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. The phone also features a side-facing fingerprint sensor and dual stereo speakers.
