iQOO Z3 could be the first smartphone with Snapdragon 768G in the global market

Following the launch of iQOO 7 series smartphones in the Indian market, iQOO is now gearing up for the launch of a new mid-ranger phone known as the iQOO Z3, which was made official in the Chinese market back in March. This device had already been listed in India’s IMEI database and shouldn’t be far away from its official launch.

As a quick recap, the iQOO Z3 is one of the only three smartphones in the market that comes with the Snapdragon 768G chipset besides the Redmi K30 Racing Edition and ZTE S30 Pro. It’s likely to be the first smartphone outside of China to be equipped with this chipset.

Upfront, the iQOO Z3 builds around a 6.58” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution as well as a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. On top of that, it also carries support for HDR10 contents and feature a 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Around the back, the device brings along a triple-camera setup housed within an elongated camera island. These cameras include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera.

To deliver a more immersive gaming, the iQOO Z3 is equipped with a so-called “five-layer liquid cooling” system for a smooth and consistent performance output. Similarly, it also comes with a 4D haptic feedback system as well.

Keeping its light on is a 4,400mAh battery that carries support for 55W flash charging. Other than that, the device runs on the latest OriginOS (based on Android 11) and comes also with a 3.5mm headphone jack as well as a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
