iQOO Z5 is the best-performing mid-range on AnTuTu

Besides announcing the list of top 10 best-performing flagship phone for the month of October, AnTuTu has also released the ranking of top 10 leading mid-ranger smartphones in the Chinese market.

As usual, the data source of this ranking was culminated from AnTuTu Benchmark V9 from October 1st to 31st. It’s worth noting that the average score was calculated from more than 1,000 devices, and may continue to change as more devices are being benchmarked.

AnTuTu Top 10 Best Performing Mid-ranger Phones for October 2021

For the month of October, the newly announced iQOO Z5 had overtaken the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G as the best-performing mid-range phone with an impressive score of 565,462 points. It is powered by a Snapdragon 778G chipset which is coupled with 12GB worth of blazing-fast LPDDR5 RAM as well as 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage in the memory department.

The iQOO Z5 is in fact the only smartphone model within the mid-range segment that features a LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage technologies which explains why it’s able to achieve a much higher score in the memory department as compared to other phone models.

As for the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G, the device had dropped from the first to second position with an overall score of 533,806 points. Unlike the iQOO Z5, the Mi 11 Lite 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 780G chipset which supposedly boasts better CPU and GPU scores over the Snapdragon 778G chipset. However, it fell short in terms of memory performance which explains why it has a lower score than the iQOO Z5.

Interestingly, the fairly recent Xiaomi Civi smartphone also made it to the third position which doesn’t really came much as a surprise since it shares largely similar specs as the Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite 5G including the same Snapdragon 778G chipset as well as a similar 8GB+128GB memory configuration.

Finally, in the forth to tenth positions, they are occupied by the Honor 50 Pro, Honor 50, OPPO Reno6 5G, Huawei Nova 9, Huawei Nova 9 Pro, Redmi 10X 5G, as well as the Huawei Nova 8.

This month, we are likely to see some changes to the top 10 ranking as the newly announced Dimensity 920-powered Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ are expected to make it into the top 10 list.
