iQOO has officially announced a new mid-range model known as the iQOO Z6 5G in the Indian market. While this device was launched under the iQOO branding, it’s inherently a rebranded model of the Vivo T1 5G which was recently announced in the Chinese market.
Right off the bat, the iQOO Z6 5G features a 6.58” IPS LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution along with a standard 120Hz refresh rate. To help with selfie and video calls, it also has a 16 megapixels front-facing snapper housed within it’s waterdrop-notch upfront.
At the back, it comes with a square-shaped camera module which is home to a triple-cam setup that includes a 50 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.
Just like the recently announced Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G (Review) and POCO X4 Pro 5G, the Vivo T1 5G is also powered by the new Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 695 chipset under the hood. This will be paired with up to 8GB RAM and 128GB worth of expandable storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the iQOO Z6 5G is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support. As usual, the phone will be shipped with FuntouchOS 12 based on Android 12 OS right off the box.
