Kogan unveils their latest 5-inch budget Agora smartphone

Australian retailing giant Kogan has once again unveiled their latest 5-inch budget smartphone known as the Agora which cost only $149 outright. Equipped with the dual-SIM capability, the Agora is no doubt an ideal budget device for those who do not like the hassle of switching their SIM card regularly.

Since the Agora cost just $149, we should not expect much from it’s specifications.  To begin with, the Agora will be running on Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, powered by a dual-core 1 GHz Cortex A9-based processor together with 512 MB of RAM. Apart from that, the device is also equipped with a 5.0 megapixels rear camera as well as a 0.3 megapixels front camera. Sad to say even though the device has a massive 5-inch 480 x 800 LCD capacitive touchscreen, it only has a 2,000 mAh Li-ion battery which is likely to have a short battery life ( but long enough for you to enjoy nearly 8 hours of 2G talk time ).

If the Agora catches your interest, then you can head down to Kogan ‘s official website to pre-order the device which is expected to be shipped starting on Febuary 14 next month. So what do you think of this Australian-based smartphone?
