Apple is reportedly working on its first foldable phone. While it is unlikely to launch this year, the rumour mill is working hard to gather details about the device. In a new Weibo post, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked key details about its displays and cameras.
iPhone Fold details leaked

According to the tipster, Apple’s foldable phone is in the testing phase. The latest prototype of the device is said to be equipped with a 7.58-inch inner foldable screen with support for 2713 x 1920 pixels resolution and a 14.1:10 aspect ratio.
For photography, the iPhone Fold is said to have a 48-megapixel dual-camera system. The hinge mechanism uses a more durable composite material made of amorphous metal glass, while the body is expected to be made from titanium alloy. Shown above is a mock render that the tipster shared to showcase the phone’s internal display design.
At present, there is no information about the final marketing name of the device. As per a recent update from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Apple plans to begin the foldable iPhone’s production by late September or October this year. This indicates that the device could be ready for launch by fall 2026.
It is also being said that the device will have a 5.5-inch cover display and may feature Touch ID instead of Face ID due to space constraints. The device may measure around 4.5mm and 9 to 9.5mm in the unfolded and folded states, respectively. Likely to be priced at around $2,000 to $2,500, the device may sell only 15 to 20 million units.
