As seen above, the key difference between the Honor 9X and 9X Pro lies on their camera setup. The Honor 9X will feature a dual-camera setup on its back panel, while the Pro version will have a triple-camera configuration. According to TENAA, the Honor 9X will have a 48MP main snapper and a 2MP depth sensor. As for the 9X Pro, it has been touted to arrive with a 48MP+8MP+2MP configurations.

Aside from the cosmetic differences in their camera setup, the rest of its design language remain relatively similar with each other – sleek-looking front panel with extremely thin bezels along its edges.

Honor 9X Specifications

So far, only the Honor 9X specifications have been officially confirmed by the Chinese TENAA authority. The specs for the Honor 9X Pro remain a mystery for now.

According to the TENAA listing, the Honor 9X will come with a dual-camera setup on its back panel which comprises of a 48MP main snapper and a 2MP depth sensor.

The device will come with a 6.59-inches display with 2340×1080 pixels screen resolution. It’s overall footprint works out to be around 1 x 77.2 x 8.8 mm and weighs 206 grams. Much of the weight of course, is contributed by its 3,900mAh non-removable battery which is capable of keeping its lights on for a decent amount of time.

Under the hood, it is driven by a Kirin 810 SoC alongside 4GB/ 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and 64GB/ 128GB/ 256GB internal storage space. Software-wise, it runs on the EMUI 9.0 (probably upgradable to EMUI 9.1) based on Android 9.1 OS.
