Earlier today, Xiaomi’s CEO Lei Jun has sent out his heartfelt appreciation for the Mi India team after their sales number crossed the 1 million mark in just 18 days through the month of October. This according to Lei Jun, is a new record set by the Mi India team under the superior leadership of Manu Jain, Xiaomi India’s head of operations.
This incredible sales figure is largely contributed by their sales during the Diwali festive sales held on October 1st – October 3rd, where the company snagged a record breaking 500,000 sales record in just 3 days.
With the recent release of the Mi 5S series as well as the imminent arrival of the Mi Note 2, it wouldn’t come with a surprise should Lei Jun announce another milestone for the Mi India team by the end of the year.
