A new Lenovo smartphone sporting a notch had appeared on Weibo today. The handset has a model number of L78011. It had revealed that the smartphone is running on Snapdragon 636 chipset and 4 GB of RAM. The same model number has appeared thrice on the Geekbench benchmarking platform since June 1. The Geekbench listings reveal that the handset is fueled by Snapdragon 660. It seems that the L78011 handset could be coming in two CPU editions.
The L78011 smartphone that has shown on Geekbench has Snapdragon 660 and 6 GB of RAM. In single-core test, it has scored 1,332 points whereas in multi-core test, it has recorded with 4,696 points. The same model is found listed in the phone information screen in the leaked image shown below. It can be seen that the L78011 phone has Snapdragon 636 SoC, 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of native storage and it is running on ZUK UI flavored Android 8.1.0 Oreo.
It appears that the Lenovo L78011 could be made available in two flavors. The base model seems to have SD636 SoC and 4 GB of RAM whereas the higher edition has SD660 and 6 GB of RAM.
Some rumors are claiming that it could be the Lenovo Z5 phone, but the teasers of the smartphone have suggested that it won’t be featuring a notched screen and it will be coming with a bottom-mounted selfie camera. It may so happen that the L78011 could be a different phone that may get unleashed alongside the Lenovo Z5
