Lenovo will be soon launching the Legion Y90 gaming smartphone in China. The company has already teased the design of the smartphone and its specifications have also surfaced on China’s TENAA certification platform. Now, reliable tipster Evan Blass has shared fresh renders of its global variant along with specifications, which corroborates with its TENAA listing. Depending on the configuration, the handset is expected to carry Legion 3 Lite or Legion 3 Pro monikers.

The Legion 3 Elite/Pro will feature a 6.92-inch AMOLED display tuned by PIxelworks. It supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which is mentioned as Blass’ leak as SM8450, will be powering the device.
The handset will be arriving in multiple variants. The Elite variant will offer 12 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The Pro model is expected to arrive in variants such as 12 GB RAM + 256 GB SSD storage and 18 GB RAM + 512 GB SSD storage.
The Legion 3 Elite/Pro will be backed by a 5,600mAh dual-cell battery with 68W fast charging support. It can be charged using the dual USB-C ports available on the device. For gaming, it will be equipped with four ultrasonic shoulder buttons, two rear-facing capacitive buttons, and two on-screen pressure-sensitive buttons. The Legion 3 Elite/Pro promises an enhanced gaming experience through features like dual HaptiX vibration motors, front and rear lighting, twin fans, dual stereo speakers certified by Dolby Atmos, and four microphones. The Pro model will be equipped with a leather-like finish on its rear shell.
The Legion 3 Pro/Elite back panel has a 64-megapixel + 13-megapixel / 16-megapixel dual-camera system. The leak has no information on the front camera of the device. The device measures 10mm in thickness. The leak concludes by hinting that it will break cover in Q1.
