Reports have revealed that Lenovo is planning to launch two Legion branded mobile devices such as a smartphone and a tablet in China. The latter is called Legion Y700, while the former is known as Legion Y90. Today, the company released a teaser video to showcase the design of the Legion Y90.
The Legion Y90 gaming smartphone teaser video reveals that its design will not be too different from last year’s Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 (aka Legion Pro 2 in global markets). To begin with, the gaming phone seems to feature a curved edge display with symmetrical bezels. A selfie camera is available is lodged at the upper-right corner of the top bezel.
Moving to the back, the Legion Y90 seems to feature a secondary display to showcase the Legion branding. A dual-camera system with LED flash and vents for heat dissipation can be found at the centre of the phone’s back. The device seems to feature a glass back and a metallic frame.
The right edge of the device has a power button with vents on either side. Probably, it features a side-facing pop-up camera like the predecessor model. Past reports have revealed that the device will feature a pair of USB-C ports.
The Legion Y90 is speculated to house a 6.92-inch Samsung E4 AMOLED HDR display that offers a 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. It is expected to come with Snapdragon 888 mobile platform, LPDDR5 RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The other specs of the phone are under the wraps.
