Lenovo has officially confirmed that the upcoming Lenovo Z6 Lite (or Youth Edition) will be officially announced on May 22nd next week.
Right now, the company’s VP Chang Cheng has also dropped some hint on his Weibo blog that the Lenovo Z6 Lite could be the first smartphone in the world to debut with the latest Snapdragon 730 SoC which was unveiled last month. Recently, we have also heard that Xiaomi is also currently prepping a new mid-ranger smartphone driven by the same SD730 chip.
Aside from that, we have also learned that the device will be equipped with the Allystar HD8040 multi-band, multi-GNSS chip which supports dual-frequency GPS capability which can provide exception positioning accuracy – something which frequent navigational app users will appreciate very much.
Aside from that, the other key specs of the Lenovo Z6 Lite still remain as a mystery which we hope to discover in the coming days.
