OPPO K3 will be announced on May 23rd

After being braced by waves of leaks and rumors, OPPO has finally confirmed that their new OPPO K3 smartphone will be officially announced in China on May 23rd next week.

The OPPO K3 has been touted to be a premium mid-ranger handset which is rumored to feature a 6.5-inches AMOLED display with 2340×1080 pixels screen resolution. It is said to be driven by a Snapdragon 710 SoC even though we have been hoping for it to run on the latest Snapdragon 730 SoC, but is quite unlikely given that the upcoming Lenovo Z6 Lite is purported to be the first smartphone to debut with it.

Under the hood, the OPPO K3 will carry 6GB/ 8GB of RAM and an hefty 128GB internal storage space in the memory compartment. As for its camera, there will be a 16MP+2MP main snapper on the back, as well as a 16MP front-facing selfie cam.
