All the news related to South Korean manufacturing giant, LG, are centered around the expected LG G7 ThinQ. However, we have an information today which is not about the G7 ThinQ. In recent times, LG has not been at its best in the smartphone manufacturing industry and the company is slowly losing its relevance. It ran away from the huge competition in the Chinese smartphone market, a move that wouldn’t be anticipated a few years ago. However, the company is still trying to unleash some amazing devices and get back on its feet. Recall that at MWC2018, LG launched the V30S ThinQ and this device is already on sale in South Korea with a 1,048,300 won (RMB 6,200 or $974) price tag. Now, this smartphone has been officially released in the US market. LG V30S ThinQ has opened a pre-order in the United States, priced at $929.99 (about 5900 yuan).
The most significant transition from LG V30 to LG V30S ThinQ is in its camera. The camera in the V30S ThinQ incorporates AI technology and it can intelligently identify the subjects and scenes when taking pictures. The V30S also includes Moroccan blue and platinum gray colour options which were not available in the V30.
As a reminder, LG V30S ThinQ is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage. It is equipped with a 6-inch 2880 × 1440 OLED display and runs on Android Oreo out of the box. The lights of this smartphone are kept on by a 3300mAh battery.
