LG Velvet specs have allegedly been leaked

LG will soon be announcing a brand new upper mid-ranger smartphone known as the LG Velvet on May 7th next month. Ahead of its launch, an alleged promo poster of the device had been leaked, revealing most of its key specs.

According to the leaked poster, the upcoming LG Velvet will arrive with an overall footprint measuring 167.1 x 74.0 x 7.85 mm and weights approximately 180 gram. On its front panel, the device will feature dewdrop-notch display with considerable curves along its two sides. The dewdrop compartment is home to a 16 megapixels selfie camera.

Over at the back, the LG Velvet has a so-called “raindrop” triple-camera setup paired with a LED flash. The camera sensors will allegedly include a 48 megapixels Samsung’s ISOCELL Bright GM2 main camera, an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 5 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, the device will be driven by an octa-core Snapdragon 765 SoC which will allow the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. This will be coupled with 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage which is further expandable by up to 2TB via a microSD card.

Moreover, the device will also be arriving with an in-display fingerprint sensor and carries an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. To keep its lights on, there will be a respectable 4,300mAh battery with fast-charging and wireless charging support.

Recently, LG has confirmed that the device will be available in a total of four different colorways including Aurora White, Aurora Gray, Aurora Green, and Illusion Sunset.
