Last week, Huawei announced a new Lily White variant for their Honor 10 GT smartphone. Right now, the device has been confirmed to go on sale starting August 14th next week, and is already available for pre-registrations via most major online retailing giants including JD.com.
The Lily White variant however, will cost 200 Yuan (US$29) more than the other regular color options as it was reportedly more difficult to manufacture compared to the others. As a result, the 6GB+64GB model will come with a heftier price tag of 2,599 Yuan (US$ 380), while the higher-end model with 6GB+128GB memory configurations will stood at 2,999 Yuan (US$ 438).
In case you do not know, the Lily White version was in fact inspired by the popular flowering plant called Lily of the Valley – which explains why the Chinese company has decided to name the color Lily White. What’s unique is that this particular variant is able to produce varying color spectrum under different angles due to its 2.5D curved glass back which is capable of refracting light.
