Lu Weibing Reveals Redmi K30 5G’s Connectivity Speeds and Display Accuracy

The Redmi K30 5G will go on sale on Jan. 7 in China. The smartphone will face good competition from the Realme X50 5G phone that is slated to go official on the same date. Ahead of the market release, Redmi is promoting some of the best features of the Redmi K30 5G. Lu Weibing took to Weibo to show the 5G speeds of the Redmi K30 5G. Also, it has shared information on the accuracy of the phone’s display.

Lu Weibing has claimed that the 5G speeds of the Redmi K30 5G was measured in the park. As the image reveals, the handset could achieve download speeds of 949 Mbps and upload speeds of Mbps. The smartphone is fueled by Snapdragon 765G that tags along X52 5G modem that brings support for dual-mode 5G on the device. He has also revealed that Redmi K30 supports can connect to 2.4GHz, 5GHz (Wi-Fi networks) and 5G/4G simultaneously for increased and stable network speeds.

Regarding the display of the Redmi K30 5G, Weibing claims that it is not only a 120Hz refresh supporting screen, but also supports excellent color accuracy. Citing test on WHYLAB, Weibing claims that the Redmi K30 5G screen can produce colors accurately.  

The Redmi K30 5G features a 6.67-inch IPS LCD full HD+ display. It has 20-megapixel dual front-facing cameras and a 64-megapixel quad camera system on the back. The phone comes with up to 8 GB of RAM and up to 256 GB of native storage. The smartphone is backed by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 30W fast charging. The smartphone will be selling in China with a starting price of 1,999 Yuan ($280) from next week.
