Meizu 17 Spotted at 3C with 30W Charge Support

Meizu 17 will be debuting this month. It will be arriving as the company’s first flagship phone with 5G capabilities. The last flagship phone from the company i.e. the Meizu 16s Pro came with support for 24W mCharge technology. Rumors have claimed that the Meizu 17 will be arriving with support for 30W charging. It seems that the phone will indeed arrive with faster charging capabilities as it has been spotted on 3C with a 30W charger.

The Meizu 17 that has a model number of M081Q has appeared on the database of the 3C authority of China. The 3C listing reveals that it is a 5G-capable phone. The charger that is listed along with the phone has a model number of UP1030. It supports a maximum charging rate of 30W.

Recently, a leaked image of the UP1030 charger from Meizu was spotted on Weibo. The 30W charging rate was also found mentioned on the charger adapter. These findings suggest that the Meizu 17 will be equipped with 30W mCharge technology.

Rumors surrounding the Meizu 17 series have revealed that it includes two devices such as Meizu 17 and Meizu 17 Pro. While the 3C listing reveals the model number of Meizu 17 as M081Q, it seems that the phone is internally referred to as M2081. The Meizu 17 Pro has a codename of M2091.

Meizu is yet to confirm on the launch date of the Meizu 17 series. Rumors surrounding the phone have claimed that it may arrive with a starting price of around 3,999 Yuan ($565). Some of its rumored specs include 6.5-inch S-AMOLED full HD+ display with punch-hole, Snapdragon 865, LPDDR5 RAM, UFS 3.0, 64-megapixel quad cameras and 4,500mAh battery.
