During the past few days, Meizu had revealed quite a bit about the upcoming Meizu 17 flagship. Today, the company continued their usual teasing routine by confirming that the Meizu 17 will be equipped with a 64MP Sony’s IMX686 main camera in its quad-camera setup.
Besides that, the same promo poster released today also revealed a new Dark Green color option for the device. Previously, the company had already confirmed that the device will be available in both White and Gray colorways.
From what we’d learned so far, the upcoming Meizu 17 will be featuring an OLED panel with 90Hz screen refresh rate. Surely, there will be some who find this refresh rate slightly underwhelming given that recent mid-ranger phones including the OPPO A92s and Nubia Play have higher refresh rate than that.
Under the hood, the Meizu 17 will be driven by the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC which will allow the device to support both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) 5G modes. Similarly, the device will also be utilizing the latest UFS 3.1 flash storage technology as well.
To keep its lights on, there will be a massive 4,500mAh battery which carries support for the company’s proprietary 30W Super mCharge technology.
