A leaked image that surfaced yesterday had revealed that Meizu is working on a dual rear camera smartphone. The leaked image carries an image of the dual rear camera phone on the left and the right side contains an unclear text. Hence, speculations started swirling that it could be the alleged flagship phone, the Meizu Pro 7. However, the same image has appeared once again and then the text on its right is clear enough to read.
According to the image, the rumored dual rear camera phone from Meizu is the Meizu X2. The text on the right part of the image claims that the phone is powered by MediaTek Helio X25 chipset.. The exact of the display is not known, but the screen is flanked with 2.5D curved glass and has slim bezels. Its fingerprint reader seems to be placed under the Home button at the front. It is equipped with a 3,350 mAh battery and 18W charger for fast charging.
The Meizu X2 is expected to come in variants like 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage priced at 1,749 Yuan ($253). There will be a 4 GB RAM variant with 32 GB storage for 1,899 Yuan ($275) and another 4 GB RAM model with 64 GB storage with a price tag of 1,999 Yuan ($289).
