As scheduled, Micromax has officially announced the brand new Micromax In 2b entry-level smartphone in the Indian market during an official launch event.
For starter, the Micromax In 2b features a 6.5” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness, as well as a 5 megapixels selfie camera housed within a dewdrop-notch.
On the flip-side, the Micromax In 2b comes with a rectangular camera module which is home to a dual-cam system comprising of a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor for portrait shots. This will be accompanied by a LED flash situated directly below the cameras.
Under the hood, the Micromax In 2b is powered by an octa-core UNISOC T610 chipset which will be coupled with up to 6GB RAM and 64GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the Micromax In 2b draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging speed. Other noteworthy features that accompany the phone also include it’s rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as it’s stock Android 11 OS.
For those who’re interested, the Micromax In 2b is available in three different color options include Black, Blue and Green, and is priced at INR7,999 (US$108) and INR8,999 (US$121) respectively for it’s 4GB+64GB and 6GB+64GB variants.
