OPPO Reno6 Pro+ heading to the European market as Reno6 Pro

The OPPO Reno6 series smartphones had already been launched in several Asian markets this month, and will soon be heading to the European markets in August next month.

However, unlike the Asian markets where OPPO announced the OPPO Reno6 Z, OPPO Reno6 and OPPO Reno6 Pro, the company will be bringing the higher-end Reno6 Pro+ to the European markets according to the latest leak.

Quite interestingly, the OPPO Reno6 Pro+ will be launched under the Reno6 Pro branding in the European market, which doesn’t really came much as a surprise since the company is known for rebranding their smartphones in different markets.

Moving on, it was also mentioned that the OPPO Reno6 Pro+ will be available in both Arctic Blue & Lunar Gray colorways, and is expected to be priced at €790 (US$938).

OPPO Reno6 Pro+ Specifications

The Reno6 Pro+ Detective features a 6.55” OLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. It also carries support for 180Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, 1,100 nits peak brightness, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner.

For photography, the phone relies on a quad-camera system at the back lead by a 50 megapixels Sony IMX766 main camera. As for the other three cameras, they include a 16 megapixels ultra-wide camera, 13 megapixels telephoto lens with 5x hybrid zoom, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. This will be assisted by a 32 megapixels selfie camera over at the front.

Under the hood, it’s powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 870 chipset which is paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a respectable 4,500mAh battery which carries support for 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 flash charging support.
