Xiaomi had announced the Xiaomi Mi 5X smartphone as well as MIUI 9 in July. The MIUI 9 beta is no longer as it has been available since more than 3 months. Fresh information suggests that the stable version of MIUI 9 would be soon releasing to as many as 18 smartphones. Here is the official confirmation through a teaser.
The 18 smartphones that are going to receive the MIUI 9 update soon include Mi MIX 2, Mi Note 3, Mi 6, Mi Max 2, Mi 5X, Mi 5, Mi 5C, Redmi Note 5A, Redmi 5A, Redmi Note 4X, Mi MIX, Mi Note 2, Mi 5s, Mi 5s Plus, Mi Note Pro, Mi 4s, Mi 4c and Mi 4x.
The MIUI 9 stable version is can be installed through OTA update after the notifications of the update arrives on the handset. The second method is all about downloading and installing the MIUI 9 ROM for the respective smartphone
The MIUI 9 is expected to deliver lightning fast performance like stock version of Android. It will be bringing along new features like split-screen mode, new animated icons, Smart Assistant, improvements to touch feedback and system file management.
