In April, leaked details of the forthcoming Moto E6 entry-level smartphone had surfaced. The rumor mill has been believing that Motorola will launch Moto E6 Plus and E6 Play smartphones alongside the Moto E6 since the company had launched Moto E5, Moto E5 Plus and Moto E5 Play last year. A Geekbench listing of the Moto E6 Plus smartphone has surfaced today to confirm its existence for the first time.
In the single-core and multi-core tests of the Geekbench, the Moto E6 Plus has respectively achieved 829 and 3687 points. The smartphone boots to Android 9 Pie OS. It is fueled by the MediaTek Helio P22 chipset that is mentioned with its MT6762V model number. The rest of the specifications of the Moto E6 Plus are still under the wraps.
The Moto E6 that is expected to debut along with E6 Plus is reportedly codenamed as Surfna. It is rumored to be arrive with a 5.45-inch 18:9 aspect ratio display that will support 720 x 1440 pixels resolution. The Snapdragon 430 chipset along with 2 GB of RAM are expected to power the 16 GB and 32 GB storage versions of the phone.
For photography, the Moto E6 may feature a 13-megapixel rear camera and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. The smartphone has already bagged FCC certification in the U.S. through which it has been revealed that it will feature a 3,000mAh battery.
