Moto G8 Plus, G8 Play and E6 Play Officially Unveiled

Through an unveil event in Brazil, Motorola unveiled the Moto G8 Plus, Moto G8 Play and Moto E6 Play smartphones. The G8 Plus and Play are mid-range devices whereas the E6 Play has arrived as an entry-level smartphone.

Moto G8 Plus and Moto G8 Play Specifications and Price

The Moto G8 Play has a 6.2-inch IPS LCD Max Vision display with waterdrop notch whereas the G8 Plus has a 6.3-inch IPS LCD Max Vision display with slightly reduced waterdrop notch. The Moto G8 Play has Helio P70M chipset. It has 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The Snapdragon 665 SoC powers the G8 Plus with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. Both phones run on Android 9 Pie OS and microSD card slots.

The Moto G8 Play has 13-megapixel + 8-megapixel + 2-megapixel triple rear cameras and it has a front camera of 8-megapixel. On the other side, the Moto G8 Plus has a 48-megapixel + 16-megapixel + 5-megapixel triple camera system and a front camera of 25-megapixel. Both phones have 4,000mAh batteries. The G8 Plus has TurboPower rapid charging onboard. The G8 series also feature rear-mounted fingerprint scanners. The Moto G8 Play and G8 Plus are respectively priced around ~$245 and ~$333. Sapphire Blue and Cherry are the color variants of the Moto G8 Plus. Black Onyx and Magenta Red are the color editions of the Moto G8 Play.

Moto E6 Play Specifications and Price

The Moto E6 Play has a 5.5-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. The MediaTek MT6739 powers the smartphone along with 2 GB of RAM. It has a native storage of 32 GB. It has a microSD card slot for additional storage. The handset has a 3,000mAh batter and it is loaded with Android 9 Pie OS. It also features a rear-facing fingerprint reader. The E6 Play is priced at 99 euros and it can be bought in Ocean Blue and Black colors.
