Moto Razr 2022 Pre-Order Begins, Key Details Emerge

Motorola is likely to soon announce the Moto X30 Pro, Moto S30 Pro, and Razr 2022 in China. These devices were originally planned to launch on Aug. 2, but their launch has been postponed for an unknown reason. Today, Lenovo China’s General Manager for the mobile business division shared an image of the Razr 2022. He also said the pre-order for the clamshell phone is now live on JD.com.

Shown above is the image of the Moto Razr 2022’s retail box. The black-colored package sports a minimalistic design with a large-sized ‘razr’ branding. The pre-order page of the Razr 2022, available on JD.com, mentions some of its key features. The device will be equipped with a thinner and more durable hinge. It allows the foldable screen to be held at different angles.

The listing also mentions that the pre-order will last until 8 pm (local time) on Aug. 11 in China. It is speculated it will be made official on the said date and will go on sale at 8 pm.

Moto Razr 2022 Specifications (Rumored)

The Moto Razr 2022 will flaunt a 6.7-inch foldable AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It will offer an FHD+ resolution, a 20:9 aspect ratio, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its rear shell will have a 2.65-inch OLED secondary display.

The rear side of the Razr 2022 will have a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies, it will have a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

The Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 will power the device with up to 18 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 3.1 storage.  It will pack a 3,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.  It will be equipped with a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
