The Moto Z2 Force features 3,500mAh battery, but the upcoming Z2 Force will have a 2,730mAh battery. The Moto Z2 Play that was launched at the start of the previous month also came with a 3,000mAh battery, but the original phone from 2016 came with 3,510mAh battery.

The Moto Z Force came with a slim chassis of 7mm. The reduction in the battery size on the successor phone will reduce the thickness of Z2 Force by 1 mm. Moreover, the U.S. will be getting 4 GB of RAM + 64 GB storage edition of the Z2 Force whereas other regions will be getting a edition that includes 6 GB of RAM + 64 GB storage. In China, Motorola Moto Z2 Force will be releasing with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. Other rumored specs of the Moto Z2 Force include a 5.5-inch QHD ShatterShield screen, a Snapdragon 820 SoC, 12-megapixel dual rear cameras and 5-megapixel front cameras.
