Motorola has three Moto Z phones for this year. The Moto Z2 Play has been already unveiled at the start of this month and now the company is prepping up to launch the Moto Z2 and Moto Z2 Force. The Moto Z2 has now appeared on Geekbench to reveal its benchmark scores as well as its key specifications.
According to Geekbench listing, the Moto Z2 is a flagship phone as it features a Snapdragon 835 that includes a 1.9 GHz octa-core processor and Adreno 530 graphics. The chipset is coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It is preloaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS.
As far as Geekbench scores are concerned, the Moto Z2 has scored 1879 on single-core test and 6503 on multi-core test. The Moto Z2 has flagship specs but these days 4 GB RAM has become a feature that can be seen on mid-range smartphones. Moreover, the Geekbench scores of Moto Z2 are no way close to what Samsung Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8+, HTC U11, ZTE Nubia Z17 and the upcoming OnePlus 5 have scored on the benchmarking platform. It is likely that the Moto Z2 Force may come with similar specs along with ShatterShield screen and a larger battery.
