Motorola is gearing up to launch the new Edge series of smartphones, such as the Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion, in the global market. Well before launch, well-known tipster Roland Quandt leaked the official press renders of the Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion to reveal their design.
As can be seen in the leaked renders, the Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion are equipped with a punch-hole AMOLED panel with curved edges. However, one of the renders shows the Edge 30 Ultra with a full-screen display without a punch-hole. The Edge 30 Fusion also features a curved-edge display with a punch-hole at the top-centre position.
The Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion feature a volume controller and a power key on the right side. The bottom sides of both phones have a SIM card slot, a USB-C port, a microphone, and a speaker grille. The left side of both devices is barren.
A triple camera unit is available on the rear shell of both smartphones. The Edge 30 Ultra has an OIS-assisted 200-megapixel main camera, whereas the Edge 30 Fusion is fitted with a 50-megapixel main snapper with OIS support. The Motorola batwing logo can also be seen in the centre of the rear shell of both smartphones.
The Edge 30 Ultra will come in white and black colors, whereas the Edge 30 Fusion will come in blue and black colors. Today, Motorola will be announcing the Moto X30 Pro and S30 Pro smartphones in China. These devices are rumored to be rebranded as the Edge 30 Ultra and the Edge 30 Fusion in the global market. Both the Edge models are expected to go official as early as this month.
