Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) debuts with Snapdragon 695 & 50MP triple cameras

Motorola has officially announced a new budget-centric smartphone known as the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) in the U.S. market which brings along some decent upgrades over it’s predecessor in terms of processing power and photography capability, despite keeping it’s affordability.

Right off the bat, the new Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) features a large 6.8” LTPS LCD display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. As it’s name suggests, the device actually comes with a built-in stylus which allows users to quickly drop down notes or even doodle on the phone itself.

Flipping the phone over, there will be a triple-camera array comprising of a 50 megapixels main camera with OIS support, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels unit for depth sensing. As for selfies and video calls, there’s also a 16 megapixels front-facing camera as well.

Under the hood, the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 695 chipset that’s coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB built-in storage which can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the phone is backed by a respectable 5,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support. As usual, the device will be shipped with Motorola’s custom My UX interface based on Android 12 OS right off the box.

For those who’re interested, the Motorola Moto G Stylus 5G (2022) is available in two different colorways such as Steel Blue and Seafoam Green, and is priced at US$499.99 in the U.S. market.
