The Moto X4 has been in the rumors since several months. All the predecessor Moto X models came with flagship specs, but the rumored Moto X4 is pegged to come with mid-range specifications. Now that the company has officially confirmed on the upcoming Sept. 2 launch event in Philippines, it is likely that the Moto X4 may get official on the said date.
The above official launch event poster states that the upcoming Motorola event will begin at 6 PM local time and well-known Filipino celebs Nadine Lustre and James Reid will be anchoring it. The presence of the “hellomoto X” text on the poster suggests Motorola may announce the Moto X4 smartphone.
The arrival of the Moto X4 seems likely as it has cleared FCC certification in the U.S. and it has been also approved by Anatel in Brazil. In the Europe, it is expected to be available with a pricing of 350 euros. A tipster has claimed that the Moto X4 with 32 GB storage will be costing $349 in North America. whereas the 64 GB model would be priced at 399.
The Moto X4 will be arriving with a 5.2-inch FHD display and 12-megapixel dual rear cameras. It is expected to sport a IP68 certified body. It will be driven by Snapdragon 630 chipset and will receive power from a 3,000mAh battery.
