Motorola has released several smartphones this year and it is expected to announce Moto M2 phone before the end of this year. However, it appears that the Chinese manufacturer has another budget phone waiting for release as Moto XT-1799-2 has been certified by China’s telecommunication agency named TENAA.
The TENAA filing of the Moto XT-1799-2 has revealed that it has a 5.2-inch display that supports full HD resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 pixels. It is mentioned that the phone is running on 1.5 GHz dual-core processor. This piece of information seems to be wrong because most of the Android phones available in the market are powered by quad-core or octa-core processor. There is no information available on the manufacturer of the chipset.
It appears that the Moto XT-1799-2 would be coming in two models. The base model may have 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage and 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. It also features a microSD card slot.
It has an 8-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel front-facing snapper. The handset is loaded with Android 7.1.1 Nougat OS and is loaded with 2,810mAh battery. The smartphone measures 150 x 73.5 x 8.2 mm and its weight is 157 grams. It will be available in color choices like Black, Pink and Silver.
