New Google Pixel Phone Tipped to be in Works

The Google Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, which debuted recently, had C10 and P10 codenames. Leaked information that surfaced in May claimed that there was another Pixel in the works with the G10 codename. The device was thought to be packed with high-end specs. Now, a fresh report has surfaced to reveal what to expect from the device.

91mobiles has partnered up with tipster Kuba Wojciechowski to share new details about the G10. According to the leaker, the G10’s display will produce a resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels. He added that the device will measure 155 x 71mm, which suggests that it could be equipped with a 6.7-inch display like the Pixel 7 Pro.

The report states that the G10 could be an early prototype of the Pixel 8 series. Previous reports have claimed that the G10 could be similar to the Pixel 6 Pro and Pixel 7 Pro. Hence, there is a possibility that the G10 could be the Pixel 8 Pro.

The report further states that the G10’s display is supplied by BOE. However, one major change on the device is that it is equipped with  an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner instead of the optical one. To find out more about the mysterious G10 phone, it’s best to wait for more news.

Rumors are rife that Google has a couple of devices lined up for launch next year. The company is reportedly working on devices like the Pixel 7a and the Pixel Fold, a foldable device. The latter is said to have the “Felix” codename and is expected to debut in Q1 2023. It’s likely to have a cover screen that’s 5.87 inches and a foldable screen that’s 7.57 inches.
