New iQOO Z-Series Phone is Coming, iQOO Z3 with Snapdragon 768G / 765G Expected

Yesterday, iQOO held a launch event in China to announce the iQOO Neo5 flagship phone. Recent reports have claimed that the company may announce two other phones such as iQOO Z3 and iQOO U3x by the end of this month in the home market. Today, the company released a new teaser to confirm the arrival of a new Z-series phone. Probably, it could be hinting at the launch of the rumored iQOO Z3 phone.

The new poster only confirms that iQOO’s next Z-series handset will support 5G connectivity. Hopefully, the company will confirm its moniker in the next few days. It is speculated that the V2073A Vivo phone that was recently certified by the 3C authority of China may debut as the iQOO Z3.

New iQOO Z-series phone teased

Previous leaks claimed that it may arrive with a Dimensity chipset. However, its recent appearance at the Google Play Console (first spotted by My Smart Price) reveals that it is powered by a Qualcomm chip.

The name of the processor which powers the V2073A is not explicitly mentioned in the Google Play Console listing. It only states that the device features an SM7250 chip and 6 GB of RAM. The SM-7250 model number is associated with Snapdragon 765G as well as its over-clocked version called the Snapdragon 768G. Recently, a reliable tipster claimed that the iQOO Z3 is powered by the Snapdragon 768G chipset.

The listing further revealed that the V2073A’s screen supports a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels and 480ppi pixel density. Rumors surrounding the Z3 have claimed that it has an LCD panel with a 144Hz refresh rate, plastic rear, and a Sony IMX598 48-megapixel main camera. Its 3C listing revealed that it could be shipping with a 55W fast charger.
