iQOO will be announcing the iQOO Neo5 smartphone on March 16 in China. A recent report revealed that the company is also working on another phone called the iQOO Z3. A tipster from China has shared the key specifications of the smartphone.
The leakster claimed that there is not much change on the iQOO Z3 as compared to the predecessor iQOO Z1 that was announced in May 2020. He revealed that the phone will be sporting a polycarbonate rear and a plastic middle frame.
He added that the iQOO Z3 smartphone will be equipped with an LCD screen that supports a refresh rate of 144Hz. The handset will be driven by the Dimensity 1200 chipset. The other specs of the smartphone are not known yet.
A new Vivo phone that with model number V2073A was certified by the 3C authority of China in the previous week. The 5G-ready handset was spotted with a 55W charger. Rumors are rife that this device may hit the Chinese markets as the iQOO Z3.
The Realme GT Neo and Redmi’s gaming smartphone are also expected to feature the Dimensity 1200 chipset. The iQOO Z3 is likely to rival with these phones in the Chinese market. iQOO may start teasing its arrival after the launch of the iQOO Neo5.
iQOO Z1 Specifications
The iQOO Z1 flaunted a 6.57-inch IPS LCD screen with a punch-hole design. It offered a Full HD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh. It was powered by the Dimensity 1000 chipset, LPDDR4x RAM, and UFS 2.1 storage. It sported a front camera of 16-megapixel and a rear camera setup featuring a 48-megpaixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel macro camera. It carried support for 44W fast charging for its 4,500mAh battery.
