In February, LG had launched the LG V60 ThinQ 5G flagship phone. There have been mixed rumors about LG G-series phones. Many reports have claimed that the new brand restructuring strategy has resulted in the axing of the G-series. A recent report revealed that the LG G9 ThinQ will debut with Snapdragon 765G. However, a recent report had revealed that it could be arriving as a renewed version of a yesteryear LG Chocolate phone. Fresh details coming from South Korea reveal that the new LG Chocolate phone will break cover on May 15.
The mysterious LG Chocolate phone is expected to arrive with an impressive design. Even though it will be a “mass premium” smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 765 or 765G processor, it will come with capabilities of a flagship phone.
The smartphone business of LG is not making profits. Hence, the company is reportedly applying different strategies in different regions. For instance, the LG V60 ThinQ arrived in North America and Europe for people who are in need of a premium flagship with 5G support. The upcoming Chocolate phone will be a more affordable product.
The upcoming SD765G LG phone is expected to feature a massive display of 6.7 or 6.9 inches. The back panel of the phone is expected to feature a quad camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary shooter. Like the V60 ThinQ phone, it will be also arriving with support for dual screen accessory. The other specifications of the smartphone are currently under the wraps. The smartphone is expected to cost around 850,00 won ($700) in South Korea.
