New Samsung Galaxy A-Series Phone with 48MP Quad Cameras to Launch in India; Could be Galaxy A12

Popular YouTuber Mukul Sharma took to Twitter today to reveal that Samsung will be launching a new A-series smartphone in India. The tipster did not reveal the name of the smartphone. However, he said that the device is fitted with a 48-megapixel quad camera setup. It can be said based on recent reports that the South Korean tech giant could be planning to launch the Galaxy A12 mid-range phone in India.

The tipster claimed that the quad-camera system of the upcoming Galaxy A-series phone for India has an ultrawide lens, a macro camera, and a depth sensor apart from the 48-megapixel main camera. He also mentioned the device will be priced under Rs 15,000 ($206). Earlier this week, reliable tipster Ishan Agarwal collaborated with My Smart Price to reveal that Samsung is planning to launch the Galaxy A12 smartphone in India. Hence, it appears that Sharma could be hinting at the arrival of the 1A12 handset.

The support page of the Galaxy A12 is now live on Samsung India’s official site. As can be seen in the screenshot, the support page has listed the 4 GB RAM variant of the device. The user manual of the phone is also available on the website. The South Korean company had launched the Galaxy A12 originally in Europe back in November. The handset has recently gone official in the home market of South Korea.
