Vivo introduced its S-series of smartphones in China by launching the Vivo S1 and Vivo S1 Pro devices this year. It appears that the company may soon announce a new Vivo S-series phone in the coming days. The reason behind it is that S-series brand ambassador Cai Xukun who is a Chinese singer and dancer has appeared in a video with a mysterious phone. It is being speculated that it could be the next Vivo S-series phone from the company.
Xukun has appeared with a new Vivo S-series in a promo video for Esquire fashion magazine. What’s unique about the design of this mysterious phone is that it features its camera sensors are placed in the shape of a diamond. It is being speculated that it could be called Vivo S5 although there is no concrete evidence to back it.
Most of the current phones with quad cameras have vertical unit. Recently, some phones like Huawei Mate 30 Pro and Vivo NEX 3 5G have adopted a circular camera module design for their rear cameras. It appears the Vivo S5 could be the first phone to arrive with diamond-patterned quad rear cameras. If the device really arrives with Vivo S5 moniker skipping names like Vivo S2 or S3, it is likely that the phone may come with some impressive specs.
