POCO C3 Bags Bluetooth Certification as Rebranded Version of Redmi 9C

POCO has recently launched the POCO M2 Pro smartphone in India. It arrived as a rebranded and slightly downgraded version of the Redmi Note 9 that debuted in Europe a few months ago. Rumors have been claiming that one or more of the recently announced Redmi 9 series could be arriving in the market as a POCO device. So far, M2006C3MI and M2004J1P1 are the two unreleased phones that have been certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards. These are variants of the Redmi 9C and Redmi 9 phones. All the Redmi 9 series have appeared in the database of the Bluetooth SIG certification platform. The listing reveals that the M2006C3MI that was approved by the BIS authority will come to the Indian market as POCO C3.

The letter ‘I’ at the end of the M2006C3MI model number means it has heading to Indian markets. The model number of the Redmi 9C’s global version is M2006C3MG. The Bluetooth certification reveals that India will be receiving the Redmi 9C’s Indian variant as POCO C3.

Hopefully, POCO India will soon start teasing the arrival of the POCO C3 phone in India. POCO brand was introduced earlier this year as an independent company. Since then, it has launched a few phones that are nothing but rebranded versions of Redmi handsets. With Redmi 9C coming to India as POCO C3, it seems that the company will stick around with this strategy for quite some time.

Redmi 9C Specifications
