HMD Global has an entry-level phone that is waiting to get unleashed. The Nokia 2 that has modest specs has been in the rumors since a couple of months. However, the company is still silent on its launch. Now, the smartphone has allegedly appeared on AnTuTu benchmarking site to reveal some of its key specifications.
A new Nokia phone with model number TA-1035 has showed up on AnTuTu. The benchmarking platform has not revealed the size of the display of TA-1035, but it shows that the handset carries support for HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels.
The Snapdragon 212 chipset powers the phone with 1 GB of RAM and an internal storage of 16 GB. These specs are in line with the already revealed rumored specs of the Nokia 2 entry-level phone. It has a rear camera of 8-megapixel and a frontal shooter of 5-megapixel. It is running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat. The other configurations of the phone such as the battery size are not revealed through its AnTuTu listing. However, previous rumors have claimed that it features a 4,000mAh battery.
There is no information available on the official unveiling of Nokia 2. Since HMD Global will be holding a launch event on Oct. 31 in India, rumors are claiming that it may debut the Nokia 2. However, other sources say that the company will unleash the Nokia 7 in India that was recently debuted in China.
