In the previous month, HMD Global had launched the Nokia 3.1 Plus smartphone as the successor for the Nokia 3.1 phone that was announced in May. Suning Tesco, a Chinese retailer has confirmed that the Nokia 3.1 Plus will be launching in China on Nov. 22. The retailer giant will begin the pre-orders of the smartphone from the said date.
The Weibo post that confirms the launch of the smartphone does not contain any information on the specs of the phone. The poster that accompanies the Weibo post reveals the notch-less display of the smartphone. The pre-orders of the phone will begin at 10 AM on Nov. 22 on Suning in China.
The Nokia 3.1 Plus features a 5.99-inch display that carries support for HD+ resolution of 720 x 1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The 12nm MediaTek Helio P22 chipset is present under the hood of the device. It’s the very same SOC that powers the Xiaomi Redmi 6 phone. The SoC of the phone is coupled with 2 GB / 3 GB of RAM. It comes with 16 GB / 32 GB of inbuilt storage and a microSD card slot for more storage.
The 13-megapixel + 5-emgapixel dual camera setup is available on the backside of the Nokia 3.1 Plus. It features a frontal shooter of 8-megapixel. The handset receives power from 3,500mAh battery. It runs on Android One stock version of Android Oreo OS. In India, the 16 GB and 32 GB editions of the phone are respectively priced at Rs. 9,499 (~$133) and Rs. 11,499 (~$160)
