Nokia 3310 (2017) Feature in Arrive in 4G Version Soon

A week ago, HMD Global had launched the 3G version of Nokia 3310 (2017) feature phone in Australia. However, India won’t be receiving its 3G version. Fresh information suggests that the company is already working on a 4G model of the phone for India.

In India, the recently launched JioPhone 4G feature phone has been accepted well by the Indian audience. In a recent interview with Economic Times, Ajey Mehta who is the Vice President for HMD Global in India that the company is considering releasing a 4G edition of the Nokia 3310 (2017). The 4G variant may get unveiled as an advanced version of the already released version of Nokia 3310 (2017).

The original Nokia 3310 (2017) carries support for 2G networks. Hence, the phone is not meant for markets like the U.S, Australia, Canada and Singapore where 2G networks are not available anymore. Hence, the Finnish firm had recently unveiled the 3G version of the phone. The first market to receive it is Australia. It is also expected to arrive in Singapore in this month. There is no information on which markets will be receiving the 4G Nokia 3310 apart from India.
