The Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2020 tech trade show will be held next month in between Feb. 24 and Feb. 27 at Barcelona, Spain. Like the last two years, HMD Global will be announcing new phones at the event. The Nokia 9.2 flagship phone with Snapdragon 865 onboard will be absent from the scene. However, there are couple of other phones that are expected to break cover at MWC 2020. Among the Nokia 8.2 5G could be most powerful featuring the Snapdragon 765 SoC. The Finnish firm is also expected to launch Nokia 5.2, Nokia 1.3 and an original series phone at the event.
Nokia 5.2 Specifications and Price (Rumored)
The Nokia 5.2 mid-range phone will be fueled by Snapdragon 632. It will have a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display. The rear camera system of the phone may look like Nokia 6.2. Hence it may feature a round-shaped camera module that may consists of a primary shooter of 16-megapixel and a 5-megapixel secondary lens along with an LED flash.
The Nokia 5.2 phone could be coming with a 3,500mAh battery. It may also feature breathing light notification function. The 3 GB RAM + 32 GB storage model of the Nokia 5.2 that will arrive with 169 euros ($186) pricing will be available in all markets. There could be a 4 GB RAM + 64 GB storage variant that may arrive in limited markets. Its pricing is not known.
Nokia 1.3 Specifications and Price (Rumored)
The Nokia 1.3 will be arriving with a 3D nano textured plastic body and plastic frame. Its appeal could be similar to the Nokia 2.3. It may come with a display of around 6 inches and may have a waterdrop or U-shaped notch. It may receive power from a MediaTek chipset and 4,000mAh battery.
The SoC of the Nokia 1.3 could be support by 1 GB of RAM. It may have a native storage of 8 GB. It may not feature breathing light notification function.
The Nokia 1.3 could be priced at 79 euros ($87). The phone release in attractive color options like the Nokia 1 Plus.
The new leak also states that the company will be announcing a new original series phone at MWC 2020. It seems to be a revised model of a feature phone from the past. Its announcement was first reportedly scheduled around Chinese Spring Festival, but it has been postponed for the coming month due to the outbreak of Coronavirus.
