HMD Global is expected to debut a couple of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 tech expo later this month. Since the existence of the Nokia 7 Plus was revealed through the APK teardown of the Nokia Camera app, it is expected to get announced at MWC 2018. Moreover, it was also spotted on Geekbench with Snapdragon 660 chipset. The entire specs of the smartphone have been leaked now.
The Nokia 7 Plus could be the company’s first to feature an 18:9 aspect ratio supporting display. It is speculated to house a 6-inch display that is coated with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. The Snapdragon 660 chipset is rumored to power the phone with 4 GB of RAM. It is likely to arrive with a native storage of 64 GB.
The handset will arrive preloaded with Android 8.0 Oreo. It will be featuring a frontal Zeiss camera of 16-megapixel. The back panel of the phone may house a dual camera setup featuring a 13-megapixel and a 12-megapixel. The exact size of its battery is known, but it is rumored to support fast charging through USB-C.
Recent reports have suggested that apart from Nokia 7 Plus, the company also like to announce Nokia 1, Nokia 4, Nokia 9 flagship phone, global editions of Nokia 6 (2018) and Nokia 3310 4G edition. More information on the other upcoming Nokia phones are expected to surface in the coming weeks.
