Asus ZenFone 5 Images Surface as MWC 2018 Debut Nears; Shows of 18:9 Full Screen Design

Asus has recently confirmed that it would be holding its press conference at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 on Feb. 27. The Taiwanese company is heavily pegged to announce the ZenFone 5 series. Leaked images of the alleged ZenFone 5 smartphone to reveal what to expect from its design.

As it can be seen in the image, the ZenFone 5 seems to be sporting a full screen design. It is speculated that it would be coming with a 5.7-inch display that will carry support for 18:9 aspect ratio. The frontside of the phone does not feature a physical Home button. The upper bezel seems to feature a selfie camera, an earpiece and some other sensors.

The back panel of the ZenFone 5 seems to be housing a dual camera setup. The vertical design of the dual camera system is reminiscient of the dual snappers found on the Apple iPhone X. The company’s branding can be seen below the rear-mounted fingerprint reader. The upper edge of the phone has 3.5mm audio jack and the bottom edge seems to be featuring a pair of external speakers with a microUSB port placed in between.

There is nothing much known about the specs and also on the names of the phones that belong to ZenFone 5 series. However, recent reports have suggested that the Taiwanese company may announce ZenFone 5 Lite and ZenFone 5 Max smartphones at MWC 2018.
