Nokia 7 with Snapdragon 630, Dual-Sight Camera Officially Launched

HMD Global has officially launched the all new Nokia 7 smartphone. This budget phone is packed with decent specs and impressive build.

Nokia 7 Specifications and Features

The Nokia 7 that features a IP54 rated splash-resistant chassis is enabled with Gorilla Glass 3 rear and an aluminum frame. The handset measures 141.2 x 71.45 x 7.92 grams and is available in colors like Glossy Black and Matte White.

A 5.2-inch IPS LCD screen that supports FHD resolution is present on the Nokia 7. It is shielded by Gorilla Glass 3. It is the first phone from the company to be fueled by Snapdragon 630 chipset. It comes in 3 GB and 4 GB RAM options and each of them feature 64 GB of storage. For more storage, users can use a microSD card on the device. It is preinstalled with Android 7.1 Nougat.

The rear side houses a f/1.8 aperture 16-megapixel snapper from ZEISS. HMD Global’s dual-sight technology makes it possible to use to record photos and videos using both the cameras at the same time. This feature is dubbed as Bothie which is also available on Nokia 8. For 3D surround sound recording, the Nokia 7 is also enabled with OZO audio technology.

The frontside of the phone has a 84-degree wide-angle f/2.0 aperture 5-megapixel selfie camera. Other features of the Nokia 6 are Cat. 6 LTE modem, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, USB-C, fingerprint scanner, v5.0 Bluetooth, GPS and NFC.

Nokia 7 Pricing and Availability

Currently, the Nokia 7 is exclusively available in China. The Finnish firm may release it more markets in the near future. The  4 GB and 6 GB RAM models of the Nokia 7 are respectively priced at 2,499 Yuan (~$377) and 2,699 Yuan (~$407).
