Various smartphone makers like OPPO, Xiaomi, Vivo, Samsung and Honor are all working on under-display camera technology. None of these companies have started mass production of the technology claim that is not completely ready yet. A new leak states that the Nokia 9.2 PureView arriving few months later could be equipped with an in-screen camera technology.
The Nokia 9.2 PureView is rumored to be the name of the next flagship phone from HMD Global. Nokia_anew that is known for leaking information on upcoming Nokia phones has revealed that the Finnish firm could be planning incorporate the under-display camera technology on the Nokia 9.2 PureView smartphone. No other details on the device’s camera have been revealed by the company.
The Nokia 9.2 PureView is expected to debut in the first half of 2020. The handset will be arriving as a successor for the Nokia 9 PureView phone that had arrived with penta-lens system and it featured the older Snapdragon 845. The Finland-based company was rumored to unveil Nokia 9.1 PureView with Snapdragon 855 later in 2019. However, it was reportedly shelved to make way for the more powerful Nokia 9.2 PureView phone with SD865 onboard.
Rumors have it that Nokia will not be relying on the camera capabilities of the Light Technology on the Nokia 9.2 PureView. Instead, it could be collaborating with Toshiba for photography on the Nokia 9.2 PureView. Rumors surrounding the phone claim that it could be coming with a bezel-less display and wireless charging support. It may lack a 3.5mm audio jack.
At MWC 2020, the company may unveil Nokia 8.2 5G, Nokia 5.2, Nokia 1.3 and a Nokia 400 4G phone. It is also reportedly working on a foldable phone which the company may unveil at 2020 end or early 2021.
